It’s finally here. Halloween. The only day of the year when it’s socially acceptable to knock on strangers’ doors asking for food. A day where costumes are thrown together at the last minute on mass. A day when 90% of the female population magically transform into cats. I fucking love it!
With many of Norwich’s clubs closing down this year Norwich nightlife has become pretty dire, but this Halloween seems like it might be an oasis in Norwich’s desert of a club scene. Here’s a rundown of what tonight has to offer.
Tropico x Deep Trouble present Halloween with Mike Skinner @ Open
Hell yessssss! We all love a bit of Tropico and tonight they’re collaborating with Deep Trouble to bring us a DJ set from front-man of The Streets Mike Skinner. What’s not to love? If you’re in to garage, grime, hip hop, R&B, disco, soul, funk and Afrobeat you need to be there. There are also prizes available for the most outlandishly dressed and a ‘Horror Enhancement Station’ for those of you who forgot to sort your costume out (we’ve all been there). Halloween Ball @ The Waterfront
9pm-3am at The Waterfront is where you want to be if you like Alt Rock, Metal and Goth. Prizes for best dressed gal and geezer. There will be Halloween cocktails. Tickets are £4.50/£3.50. Click here for more info.

Chasing Tigers are playing live, I don’t have a clue if they’re any good but it’s free entry and there will be drinks so who can complain? Here’s a link to Bar 11’s website (although it’s pretty useless). Also if you run into a boy called Darri while you’re there, ask him where his fanny bone is.
Rebel Lion Come To Chase The Duppy Away @ The Owl Sanctuary
