November Playlist

November so far has been pretty bleak, but one thing that keeps me sane in the dark autumn/winter months is some good music. That in mind, I’ve put together a little playlist for you all, in the hopes that you can keep ahold of your sanity too. It features some hip hop and grime songs that I’ve got on repeat at the moment. Listen and enjoy.

Cabrakid – In The Family: For those of you who don’t know, Cabrakid is a musical collaboration between High Priest Cabrakan and Allergy Kid (otherwise known as Jake and Gabs). They’re wicked, as is their newest track ‘In The Family’ which HPC described as ‘a war dub to David Cameron’. Who doesn’t enjoy a DC diss track?

Hawk House – Chill Pill (Experiment 2)

FS&HG – Sometimes

Freddie Gibbs & Madlib – High: From their album ‘Piñata’ which came out last year features some other great tracks such as Thuggin’ and Deeper.

Little Simz – Sit Tight: Kendrick Lamar described her as ‘pretty dope’ and I find it hard to disagree with him.

Kojey Radical – Bambu: He’s Creative Director of Push Crayons, a creative media agency, works for menswear’s brand Chelsea Bravo and he’s been on tour with Young Fathers, is there anything this guy can’t do?

OthaSoul – Inna Child

Ocean Wisdom – Walkin’

A-F-R-O – Definition of a Rap Flow: he was 16 when he did this. MAD.

Loyle Carner – Tierney Terrace: one of my favourite LC songs, BFG is also up there.
